As we head into the 2024-25 school year, we are planning that once again, both breakfast and lunch will be provided to our students at no cost by the State of Michigan. This decision will be finalized soon and signed by the Governor.

We will be collecting the Education Benefits Form again. It is refreshed every year on July 1st, and every family must fill it out each year. While this form doesn't affect your student getting free meals, the data collected helps fund many other programs in our District.

Questions regarding food service can be directed to Megan Johnson, Director of Food and Nutrition Services, at (616) 965-4340.

Bus Tracking – Ride 360 is Now My Ride K-12

The Ride 360 app that Kenowa Hills uses to provide our families with student transportation information will be retired, and an updated app will be available. This new app, My Ride K-12, can be downloaded now in the Apple and Android app stores. You will need to download the new app to access updated transportation information for your student(s). Usernames and passwords from Ride 360 will carry over into My Ride K-12. Additionally, you can use your existing log-in information to access a web version of My Ride K-12 at myridek12.tylerapp.com.

Kenowa Hills is proud to partner with My Ride K-12, an in-vehicle GPS geolocation to provide parents and students with real-time access to bus stop locations, transportation routes, pick-up times, and more. If you need to create a new account, get started using the instructions below.

High School Fall Athletics begin on August 12, 2024

***Middle School Fall Athletics begin on August 19, 2024

All high school athletes must have a physical on file with the athletic office dated on or after April 15, 2024, to participate in a high school sport at Kenowa Hills High School. Each athlete will need the following items to participate:

  1. Current sports physical (not well-child), dated April 15, 2024, or after (linked here)
  2. Spectrum Health Medical Consent Form (linked here)
  3. $85.00 participation fee for high school / $70 for middle school (check - payable to Kenowa Hills, cash or payment through Efunds or FinalForms.)

Once all necessary documents have been submitted in FinalForms, and payment has been submitted to the Athletic Office, athletes will receive a pink Permission to Practice form. The Permission to Practice form should be given to the coach on or before the first day of practice/tryouts.

Please direct any athletic department questions to Vicki Bekins, vbekins@khps.org

MHSAA 2024-25 Calendar

Knight Athletic Department is very excited to announce that the high school & middle school have partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students participating in athletics.

FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.

You may review your data at any time to verify it is current. You will be required to sign your forms one time a year and after any updates. Click on the Parent Playbook below to get started in FinalForms. The playbook will walk you through how to register as a parent/guardian and your student-athlete.

We are asking ALL parents of athletes to use FinalForms. Please register at FinalForms and follow the prompts to create your account, create your students, and sign all your forms prior to the first day of fall sports on August 12, 2024.

Safety and Security Commitment to Anti-Bullying Creating Inclusive Environments Safety Drills

Life is busy. At Kenowa Hills, we partner with families to make life easier.

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.

At the home of the Knights, athletic programs are a vital part of building character, drive, commitment, and teamwork for our student athletes.

The arts build pride and community at Kenowa Hills. From our Marching Knights to musical performances at our Performing Arts Center, we believe the student experience really is a work of art.
