Community and culture play a vital role for the Knights of Kenowa Hills, fostering an environment that celebrates inclusivity and collaboration. From neighborhood celebrations to youth camps, and educational opportunities to volunteer opportunities, here you’ll find exciting events designed to foster connections, promote relationships, and strengthen the bond between our school, families, and the wider community.

Kenowa Hills Public Schools does not necessarily sponsor or endorse these activities. Please contact the specified organization for additional details.

Embrace Her Summit - July 18
The EmbraceHer Summit brings together young girls of color, providing a space to instill their confidence and establish a firm belief in their strength. This is a free event for girls ages 12-17 with inspiring speakers, insightful workshops, engaging activities, giveaways, lunch & transportation provided. Register today.

The Grand Rapids Gold, the NBA G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets, announced today its 2024 Gold Academy Schedule. The team will hold four week-long basketball camps for children ages 8-14. Each program covers on court fundamental instruction and are designed to build basic skills alongside members of the NBA G League staff. All skill levels are welcome.

Total Trek Quest (TTQ) is a fun, high-energy after-school program designed exclusively for male-identifying students in 3rd-5th grade. It incorporates strength and stretching exercises with training for a 5K. Participants in the program will develop positive peer relationships and feel part of a team while working toward individual goals. Additional practice activities focus on developing a healthy lifestyle and resisting peer pressure. The fall season begins the week of September 9th, with our final 5K on November 16th. Registration opens on 5/30/24.

TTQ Fall Registration - Kent County

Registration Fees: $50 per child.
Scholarships are available by contacting Drew at aharmon@arborcircle.org or calling 616-485-9481.

Fall Program Includes:

  • 2 Practices per week, held after school
  • Practices include: healthy snack, activities, warm up exercises, and 5K training
  • Note: If school is canceled or a half day, TTQ is also canceled
  • Free family kickoff event
  • Program t-shirt for race day
  • A 5K event to end the Fall season on Saturday, 11/16/24
  • 5K is free and open to all family members

Junior Kickers (Birth Year 2020-2016)
Fall 2024 Soccer
September 23 - October 26

Junior is a youth soccer program run by licensed PASS coaches. It is a fun and friendly way to your children to start developing their soccer skills.

Trainings are Mondays at 6:30 PM held at the Alpine Sports Complex with optional weekend games.
